You've Got Nail 67 // Scratch January Box

I'm already a big fan of turquoise and gold together, so Scratch's January box was a nice breath of fresh, springy air for what has otherwise been a very grey January. Click through to see the details of the three sets I made with these fun wraps!

Cloud Nine

I'm so excited to share my new career with y'all. Starting in February, I will be offering microblading services at Chicago Tattoo Company. I'm so excited and humbled to have this opportunity and I can't wait to give everyone some beautiful brows! Aptly dubbing my services as Micro Penny, you can sign up for appointment notifications on the website. I'll be giving you more details as the time nears!

The Grommet Dress

I swoon over the Mugler grommet dresses from a few years ago (Pre-FW15 & FW15), but they're obviously far out of my price range. There are plenty of inspired dresses out there, but this particular one struck me because the material feels like a soft pair of fleece-lined tights. Even though this dress is sexy, it's comfortable and heck and is keeping me warm today.

The Velvet Slip

My favorite part of winter is layering up with soft and textured pieces. On a rainy day, this velvet slip was a perfectly comfortable way to spend the afternoon wandering a museum.

Happy Birthday, Bowie

The late and great David Bowie was and continues to be one of my favorite musicians and fashion icons. This past Halloween, I did a fun DIY costume based on his 1974 "Rebel Rebel" performance. RIP Starman. We miss you.

Happy 2017

How did you celebrate the new year? I put on the best velvet pants and went to a disco party.

Blank Slates

2016 is over and the new year presents us with a fresh start. I'm looking forward to all of the opportunities to grow in 2017. Here's to a new year, a new fluffy coat, a new hair color, and a blank slate.
