A few years ago I stumbled upon a little website called ModCloth. Of course, of course, I fell in love. I watched over a bit of time as they grew and had more exciting product and collaborations with bloggers. Fast forward to just a few short weeks ago when I discovered that the amazing Elizabeth of Delightfully Tacky had selected me to share ModCloth's Spread the Cheer Celebration with her and other wonderful bloggers. What is Spread the Cheer, you ask?
In mid-November, the ModCloth staff hand delivered packages to their customers in Pittsburgh. Not only were they greeted by friendly MC employees, but they also received two gift cards worth $50 each — one for themselves and one for a friend.
What a great surprise, right? Well don't feel left out! If you order any gift card over $50 through December 25th, you're entered in a drawing for another $50 to spend at ModCloth!
And for bloggers, I'm so honored (I'm not sure if honored even encompasses how amazing I feel!) to be included as one of the eight ladies to receive a piece from ModCloth's collection. I love Delightfully Tacky and all of Elizabeth's posts and she selected a gorgeous dress to share with me this holiday season.
The Polite and Day Dress is currently out of stock, but will be available again on January 2nd. The white peter pan collar and belt are the perfect contrast against the cherry red. Another bonus for these colder months is the fabric — it's thick enough to keep the chill out! I paired mine with tights and wedges and threw my wool J. Crew coat over top.
