Leaving on a Jet Plane

Posted on: Tuesday, September 13, 2011

Today's going to be a short post, Minis! Today I dropped Geoffrey off at the airport. He's going to be at Penn State for a whole week working at a new store opening of the company in which we both work. We snapped my outfit just before leaving the apartment, so it was quick!

I'm going to be working short morning shifts for the rest of the week, so my afternoons and evenings are probably going to be filled with projects, cleaning, and friend hang-outs! Kind of excited to catch up with some friends — including Stanley who's in town from LA!

And as Ms. Daina reminded me on Tumblr, it's only three days until I leave for Chicago! I'm get more and more excited as it gets closer. I haven't been to Chicago since January (brrrrr!) and even then didn't get to visit my friends — we spent our week exploring the city on our own.

But I'm taking my bicycle and camera, so we'll see what comes out of it!

I want to remind everyone that today is the last day for free shipping at the Mini Penny shop! And yes, it's free for international orders as well. Don't miss it! Enter AUTUMNSALE at checkout to get the deal. Hurry!

Today is also the last day for Lime Crime's 1950s contest! I'm not even sure if they're taking 'likes' into consideration, but it's worth a shot. Go 'like' my photo and tell Lime Crime that you want me to win! (All feedback is of course, as always, great appreciated!)

Today's outfit was about comfort. It ended up being warmer than I expected, but not terrible. I'm spending the rest of the evening inside with the Kitty and Wheel of Fortune (of course). I'm looking forward to some fun posts this week — including (hopefully) the September Birchbox and a drugstore lipstick review!

  1. Do you do your hair dyeing yourself? It's so beautiful. I seriously just can't get enough of it. XO, Rae
