Review // September Birchbox

Hello Minis! I'm finally home and all settled from this weekend's Chicago trip. It turned out to be amazing and I'm sure I'll be sharing more on that with you later. When I arrived home last night, my September Birchbox was patiently waiting at my doorstop. I already knew what I was getting in this box, so I was excited to try out the products.

Pangea Organics Facial Cream — This all-natural moisturizer is really smooth. It has a great texture, but I'm honestly not fond of the scent. It's too natural for me, personally. Aside from that, I think it's a great moisturizer and I'd consider it if it smelled differently. More info here.

LIVGRN Earth Eau de Parfum — I definitely dig this. I'm a huge fan of sandalwood. Plus 10% of the sales goes to an environment non-profit. More info here.

Jouer Lip Enhancer — I really love the texture of this stuff. It's thick but not sticky. I wore it to work today and it made me lips very soft and glossed. It claims to also plump, but I did not have that result. This is a product that I'm considering purchasing. More info here.

Incoco Nail Polish Appliqué — Everyone already knows that I use the Sally Hansen nail decals a lot. I was excited about these. I ended up receiving the light blue glitter set and put them on last night. So far, they're staying just as well as the Sally Hansen kind. I have used the SH glitter sets before and didn't care for them as much since they are textured and abrasive. The Incoco glitter decals are really smooth and don't get caught on my hair. Of course I still applied a clear coat just to be safe. These are the same price as the Sally Hansen decals but offer far fewer design choices. I'll stick with my drugstore kind for now! More info here.

Birchbox Friendship Bracelet —  Not really stoked on this. I'm not really a fan of bracelets that are thin and corded - especially hot pink (sorry!).

Overall, I don't think this month's Birchbox was great. I'm curious to see what happens next month. If it's another dud, I might cancel my subscription. I'm just not sure yet! When I first heard about Birchbox, people were getting awesome samples. Now it seems as thought I'm not the only person who isn't totally satisfied. Oh well, we'll see what happens!
