Warby Parker Jasper in Marine Slate

I was so excited yesterday when I found out that my new Warby Parker Jasper sunglasses had been delivered. I had the day off but high-tailed it over to work to pick these up. I had originally been a little worried that I wouldn't have them before today's Warby Parker Bocce Social, but the shipping was ultra fast!

I decided on these frames in Marine Slate. Now, as a forewarning, I'm used to cheap sunglasses. I'm the worst with losing/breaking sunglasses, so I normally picking up some $10 pair from Urban or Target.

My first impression of these? Easy — the weight. They felt more solid than any sunglasses I've owned, including the vintage Ray Ban Wayfarers that I stumbled upon last year. The lenses are great quality and the shape is to die for. These almost make me wish I needed glasses just to have an excuse to wear Warby Parkers all the time.

Not only are the glasses great, but they came in a really nice case. With all the stuff knocking around in my bag, it will surely be a lifesaver. I'm very excited to see the new Summer Crystal Collection (swoon) today at the event!

So if you're in Chicago and looking for something to get into this afternoon, swing on by 1537 North Damen. Warby Parker is hosting an event that includes some music and drinks and bocce ball. I've never played bocce ball (and Gedi was so kind to attempt to explain the rules to me last night. It sort of sounds like cornhole?), so it should be an adventure to say the least.

Cheers, Minis! I hope you have exciting plans for the weekend!
