Woo! Far before the "I love fall" mentality became a thing to make fun of white girls about (seriously, what the hell?), autumn was cool. The best holidays, the best food, and the best weather. Winsor & Newton sent over a great color selection of their new Pigment Markers and I tested them out by writing out my favorite fall things. Spoiler alert: there are no Ugg boots.
What's your favorite Halloween candy? I'm a sucker (no pun intended) for candy corn and all things chocolate. As a kid, I was really into the white candy sticks that come with those dip-powder-candies.

And yes, pumpkin spice everything. I'm not excluding the PSL because I actually really enjoy the PSL (in moderation, of course!). My hometown of Circleville, Ohio, is known for it's annual Circleville Pumpkin Show. The whole town shuts down and turns into a big carnival. All of the food vendors sell pumpkin foods — pumpkin waffles, pumpkin burgers, pumpkin soup, pumpkin donuts, etc. So pumpkins will always hold a nostalgic place in my heart. Nothing like riding the ferris wheel with a giant cone of pumpkin ice cream!

Additionally, where I grew up was very rural. The fall leaves would change colors and it was absolutely beautiful. It's nice seeing some of it here in the city, but I do miss that bright palette of Southern Ohio.

I wear my leather jackets every chance I get. Fall weather means layering under the leathers, too!
What are your favorite parts of autumn?
