Friday Finds // Washi and Paper Tapes

Recently while I was at Target, I stumbled upon some colorful and fun tapes that were too cute to pass up. I've always been a fan of the washi tapes and I was pretty surprised to see them at a venue such as Target.

These two sets are my favorites. They come in sets of four (all color coded) and I picked up the yellow/orange and blue/purse. There are two other color sets that I haven't gotten yet, but these have a great thickness and texture. What appears to be white on the dotted tapes is actually clear when placed on a surface. I love using these to seal up Etsy sales and making giving packages a little something cute! They'll run your $4 for a pack of four rolls. Pick 'em up in the office supply aisle (I found these next to the Post-It Notes!).

I found this single roll of black and white polka dotted tape in the scrapbooking section. It's by a brand called SMASH and ran about $4 for a single roll. It's a bit pricier and with the same quality, but I really wanted the monochromatic dots!

And lastly, I found these in the kid's arts and crafts section (I noticed that the Dainty Squid picked these up, too!). They're a lot thicker than the others and feel a lot cheaper, but they work great for when I'm planning out my blog posts calendar. The paper sometimes has a tendency to stick to the adhesive and tear, but for $7 and a wide array of colors, I can't complain too much. You can pick them up here or in stores.

I love looking around Etsy and elsewhere for new Washi Tape styles. What are your favorites?

I keep seeing people talk about this stuff! Nice to know I can pick it up at Target, and thanks for the idea about using on Etsy packages!
